Security Considerations
Public Links
- Anyone with the link can access
- Links remain active until disabled
- Consider time-sensitive sharing carefully
- Disable when no longer needed
Organization Shares
- All current and future members get access
- Removing someone from the organization revokes access
- Organization admins can see shared analyses
Individual Shares
- Most controlled sharing option
- Requires account creation for new users
- Full audit trail of who has access
- Easy to revoke on individual basis
Best Practices
For Publishers
- Use organization sharing for editorial teams
- Set appropriate permission levels by role
- Share with authors via individual links (view only)
- Disable public links after review complete
For Research Integrity
- Keep sharing minimal during investigations
- Use individual shares for specific consultants
- Document who has access for audit purposes
- Revoke access when investigation concludes
For Researchers
- Share with co-authors via individual access
- Use view-only for external reviewers
- Keep public links disabled for sensitive work
- Review sharing settings before submission
